BuildSmarter is a very unique and innovative organisation focusing primarily on home makeovers with a keen specialisation in painting and lighting.

 

Many owner builders often say… “I will never build again” or “I just want this renovation to be over” or “My Builder messed me around”. BuildSmarter is different.

 

BuildSmarter’s primary objective is to deliver high quality workmanship making your project run as smoothly as possible. We do this by employing the services of skilled artisans and builders on our team. Collectively our teams have decades of experience in a variety of disciplines and place great emphasis on maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

 

Structuring our teams smartly truly sets us apart. Many Builders are accused of “messing people around” because they are either unprofessional, inexperienced or don’t plan properly. Our administrative team focuses on project management to make sure the entire project from start to finish is well planned and executed. This also allows our building teams to focus purely on doing what they do best, namely doing the work and doing it well. This is important to ensure that we have a sustainable business model.

 

Our second objective is to impact and improve the lives of as many people as we can through the exciting and rewarding projects we undertake. We also welcome projects that benefit the community. We have a number of initiatives running on our Facebook page that cement our commitment to social upliftment and improvement.

 

The BuildSmarter team and our sponsors realise a deep sense of fulfilment when we visit an orphanage (or community establishment) in need of improvement and give the building, room or area a makeover. By using colours and lighting smartly, we often transform spaces and literally add colour to the lives of many under-privileged individuals who can now enjoy a smarter environment thanks to our sponsors and the BuildSmarter team.

 

Like all businesses, we have overheads, salaries to pay, training commitments, etc. and therefore strive to make a profit and create a sustainable business that benefits our clients and employees. However, we still aspire to “make a difference” and assist companies, many of whom have budget available, to direct those funds into projects that improve the lives of others.
